App Privacy Practices

A plain-language summary of how the New Central School app handles your data. This mirrors the App Store "App Privacy" labels and complements our full Privacy Policy.

Data Linked to You

The following data is collected and linked to your account:

• Contact info — name, phone, email, address.
• User content — parent/student photos and addresses you upload.
• Identifiers — user ID, FCM push token.
• Location — only when you explicitly use the location picker during registration. Not used for tracking or advertising.

Data NOT Collected

• Browsing history.
• Search history.
• Health, financial, or sensitive personal information beyond what is provided at registration.
• Contact lists, microphone, or camera (other than camera-roll picker for student photos you choose).
• Advertising identifiers.

Data Used to Track You

None. The app does not use any data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Data Sharing

• Shared with the school administration to manage your child's record.
• Processed by Google Firebase for push notifications.
• Processed by Google Maps for location display.
• Never sold, rented, or shared for advertising.

Security

• All network traffic is encrypted (HTTPS / TLS 1.2+).
• Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage.
• Session tokens are stored in the platform secure store (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).
• Optional Super Admin toggle to block screenshots and screen recording for additional safeguards.

Permissions Used

• Notifications — to deliver school announcements and approval updates.
• Location (when in use, with your tap) — to set your address during registration.
• Photos / camera — only when you choose to upload a student photograph.
• Internet — to communicate with the school server.

Your Choices

You can revoke any permission at any time from your device settings. You can request deletion of your account by emailing support@newcentralschool.tech.
